Formula E unveils Gen2 EVO car
Formula E has unveiled the new Gen2 EVO car, which will debut in the 2020/21 season. Gen2 EVO is a revamp of the existing Gen2 car and features a new front wing, dorsal fin and a distinctive curved rear wing. The new design marks the return of open-wheel racing for Formula E not seen since the first car was launched.

Jakarta E-Prix location rejected
Formula E must rethink the location of its inaugural Indonesian E-Prix after the local state secretariat rejected the proposed location. The race, which will take place on 6 June, was due to be held in the National Monument complex, but race organisers are now “assessing other viable venues.”

Ma Qinghua in quarantine ahead of the Mexico City E-Prix
Formula E’s only Chinese driver Ma Qinghua has gone into quarantine to quell coronavirus fears ahead of the Mexico City E-Prix. Ma’s team Nio 333 said in a statement that he “arrived in Mexico City on the 2nd of February to ensure a 14-day quarantine period prior to the race.”
